Here's a nice campaign from Profero for used mini's.
The ads 'hijack' used car search pages and redirect to a search page on 'Cherished', Mini's own used car site.
Clever, simple, clean, and I'll bet incredibly effective.
(Not sure how happy I'd be though, as a used car advertiser on the host site, if Mini were steering potential buyers of my motor, away from my ad to their own used car listings.)

nice idea, nicely executed, terrible thinking about how the user is going to feel. If the idea is to annoy the hell out of the audience and stop them doing what they want then they will have succeeded. Talk about alienating them! And how small is that close button? Makes me almost ashamed to work in this business when I see stuff like that.
